Now that was a challenge!!
For the past twelve days I have been practicing the design called "Jesters Hats", August's tutorial by Wendy Sheppard for the FreeMotion Challenge at SewCalGal. I found this very hard to re-create on paper let alone doing it in freemotion on fabric. But I do persist, and 60 sheets of paper later I gave it a try on fabric. I think I got it, finally! At least to my satisfaction. I see jesters hats, do you?

You are amazing! You have mastered this...well done!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I had to practice a lot on paper, too, then got stuck with an uncooperative machine...any suggestions for me? rocknquilts.blogspot.com Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I also had LOTS of trouble wrapping my brain around this! I could make one hat fine - it was just the next, connecting hat... So glad you have it mastered! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteWow -- SIXTY sheets of paper doodling? I doodled this one out on paper as well, but not nearly as much as you did. Which partly explains why yours look amazing and mine look best from a distance... ;-) I'm going back to the drawing board on this one. Literally!
ReplyDeleteYour jesters' hats are fabulous Linda! Bravo.... very well done.
ReplyDeleteLike. Like. And more like. Nicely done.
