I've been super-motivated and sewing up a storm. Only most things I am working on are for Christmas gifts, so I can't show. I made knitting project bag for myself. I finally cut up some of my Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I love how this bag turned out and it went together a lot faster than the first one I made.
I have just about finished knitting the cowl that I have shown in my bag. Just need to cast off and sew it up and it will be ready to wear. The pattern for this cowl is a simple yarn over-slip stitch that the yarn shop owner gave me when I bought the wool. I have forgotten the name of the wool but I can find out if interested.
See the little yellow foam earplug on the end of the needle with all the stitches? .. put on the end of your needle so the stitches don't fall off . I hate when that happens! |
And her latest sweater...just gorgeous.
One cabled mitt...more to come
And more birthday gifts....made especially for me by my sweet blogging friend, Sheila
A gorgeous crazy quilted fabric postcard...how special. I love it so much.
