Here is some exciting quilty news...if you have been waiting for something new to happen in our part of the quilt world. The Canadian Maritime Provinces...Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island now have a chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild...called the Maritime Modern Quilt Guild. The first meeting is scheduled to be held on November 27, 2013 from 7 til 9 pm at 1 Prince St in Dartmouth, NS. We are a large region so making it to a meeting may be difficult, so it seems there may be video conferencing available as well. Here is the website. Check it out. All are welcome to attend. I don't classify myself as a particular kind of quilter. I love it all. I make it all, or at least attempt it all. I will be attending for sure. So, come on. check it out. If you live in Halifax and need a ride to Dartmouth, please get in touch with me. I can pick you up. It would be my pleasure.
