I really needed to get my "Easy Street" to flimsy stage. I just finished sewing the borders on after spending the entire day working on it. I followed Bonnie's instructions exactly as she stated and everything went very smoothly. I am very pleased with the results and now I need to get it quilted. It's a large quilt so quilting it on my home machine will be tricky but I have a plan.
Sorry I couldnt get a full-on photo, because of lack of room so I will have to work on getting a better shot some other time. But you can get the idea of how it looks. I decided at the very last moment to change the inner border to pink from the turquoise that I previously decided on. I like the pink much better.
I am linking up with The Needle and Thread Network so stop by and check out what is going on this week.

First of all, I love, love, love the picture in your header. Makes me homesick!! I used to love, love, love snow days home from work, too!! I have those little purse frames on my list to buy next time I'm out. I'd like to give them a try. They are sweet!
ReplyDeleteYour Easy Street is great! I love the pink instead of Bonnie's gray! (Wish I had thought of that!)

ReplyDeleteI love your Easy Street! I really wanted to do the mystery this year, but I told myself I had to finish my UFOs first. The pink is a great touch.
