My machine is back where it belongs! Even though I had been without my Baby for several weeks, it was well worth the wait. I am hard on my machine and so is freemotion quilting. I have learned a lot by working with my dealer and making sure that everything was working to satisfaction. My machine is working like brand new and I am so happy.
I got all my Great Granny blocks sewn together. I added a strip in between the blocks. I am going to machine quilt this one and hopefully put it up for sale at a gift shop not far from my house. I am also working on freemotion quilting a really old UFO. I am trying to get things done. The weather here has been very hot and humid so my basement is a very attractive place to sew.
Glad to hear your machine is running smoothly! And love your great grannies!! I am saving up my little squares, but haven't started putting them together!
ReplyDeleteYour granny square quilt top looks great! I'm not sure if I'm adding sashing to mine or not, but I do like how yours looks with it. :0)
