Last year, I bought a half metre cut of each print in Tula Pink's "Eden" collection. You may remember that I made this......
from the leftovers strips, I made these panels, which I had intended
to become a quilt.
Unfortunately, I didn't like this enough to spend any more time on it so I decided to cut the panels into squares. Still not lovin' it. By accident, I folded one of the squares on the bias and just threw it on top of the pile of squares and my idea was born. Now I am happy. I still have to figure out something to do with the pink and purple panels.
I can't wait to get it basted and ready for quilting. I do love to piece my backings so I still have to figure out how that will all work out but I am very excited for this project to be moving along.
Hope you had time to do something quilty today!
Why not make it reversible and make the back just like the top, using another of the strip panels? I'm making a strip quilt with a jelly roll I won. It's for that Hand to Help Challenge. Anxious to see how you back it.
