Here are some hightlights of my visit to the Thistle Quilt Guild's annual show.in Westville, Nova Scotia. It was a lovely show. I won a door prize of a really nice table runner kit complete with backing, batting and binding. I filled up my new totebag with goodies.
I also got together with three Nova Scotia Bloggers.
A challenge to recreate a paper gift bag into fabric. |

Wonderful quilty day!
Wow , you took a lot more pictures than I did , I was too busy talking lol! Thanks again for coming Linda it was a very special day with my blogging friends!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sheila! What a great time we had. Your photos are wonderful and show so well the beauty of the stunning quilts we saw today. The BOM quilts along the stage were exceptional! Thanks for sharing the show!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to visit your blog this morning and "re-visit" such a delightful show! I had so much fun. I wish I took more pics of the quilts, but glad you did. The show was delightful, small, intimate, and not at all overwhelming. This guild does so many fun things together. Having Sheila guide us through was an extra plus - giving us the 'inside story' behind each display.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome show of talent! I expected to see just a "few" things but my goodness, there is so much to see. I'll have to go over the photos again and again to take everything in.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing. I wish I could have been there with all of you!
Congratulations on the prize! Lovely pictures and wonderful to see you guys.

A fabulous display! That must be a very large (or very productive) quilt guild!
