What's Happening

This week, I completed Round #5 of Darlene's Mystery Quilt.  48 - 5 1/2" log cabin blocks. Love this border.  It was so fun to make. At this point it measures 60 1/2" x 70 1/2" .  Round #6 will be made available the first week of July.  A bit of a wait but that's Ok. I think I have things to keep me busy!

I have three categories that I use for keeping track of my projects
1.  In Pieces
2.  Just needs Borders
3.   I need to be Quilted

This week was special to me because for the first time ever, one of these categories, #2, is totally free and clear, nothing in the pile, all complete.   All the quilts tops in #2 are now in #3 pile.  So, I guess I better get in quilting mode. I won't say how many projects are now in #1 and #3 and I bet that #2 won't be empty for long.

I am still handquilting "My Reminiscense", which I started working on in March,  and it is very slow going but my plan is pick up the pace and get this one done.

I am linking up with The Needle and Thread Network   Stop by and see what is happening across Canada.  Lots of wonderful projects.

  4. I like how your mystery quilt is progressing.
Good method of sorting your quilts. I have far too many in each category, though fewest in #2 as well. I do wonder how many are in #3, but kind of afraid to count. Perhaps I'll start a new list one of these days, well, maybe after i finish some up.

  9. Your mystery quilt looks really good! I like your method of sorting quilts too. I don't really have a #2 pile because I tend to not add borders to my quilts, so mine go from pile #1 to #3. And then they stay in pile #3 for what seems like an eternity. :)
