Handquilting is my focus...

I have so many UFOs! But that's OK...I never get bored!!  I have been handquilting the past week. I am trying so hard to finish my "Spring Morn" quilt. I can't believe that I have procrastinated so much with this quilt.  I started handquilting it a year and a half ago!  It has been kicked around from my kitchen, to the family room, to the dining room.  Poor thing! I do love it. But I am now determined to finish it so I can get it off a chair or the floor and on the wall or on someone napping on the sofa.  I have a border and a half of the rope design to finish, as well as the HST border. I omitted the final border from the pattern and I am so glad I did now.  I can finally see an end. Of course, I have been working on other things at the same time. I am working on my 2nd applique block for Reminiscence and also my knitting project.

  1. This quilt is gorgeous. Yes, you will finish it. I have one that I started 10 years ago. Still have to do a few hours of applique and then machine quilt. Oh to have it finished.

  2. Really a pretty quilt from the little that you have shown. Is it full sized? I have some UFOs that have been waiting for many, many years and I am determined to plug away at them to get them done.

  3. That is me too....lots of projects at once. Keeps me from getting bored as well. Then when you almost get to the finish with one you hit it hard to be done with it for good and can start using it.
