I did all the quilting in free motion with Aurifil 50# thread in white 2024 on my Pfaff GrandQuilter 16.0. Some spiralling, some meandering, straight lines inside each plus block. I also added a motif to some of the blue and gold plus blocks. Mostly random. I was just having fun! That's what quilting is all about to me. F+U+N!
While I was writing this post, the quilt took a turn in the washer and dryer. It came out nice and crinkly and cuddly, just the way I like my quilts.
