Today, I visited the most wonderful quilt Exhibition at the Mary E. Black Gallery at the Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design, located next to Pier 21 at the Halifax Waterfront. It ends on Sept. 1
It is called - Bedclothes and Cloths: The Quilts and Woven Textiles of Polly Greene - A Nova Scotia Quilter
Polly's handquilting is just the best I have seen for a while. If you are a scrappy quilter, you would have just been in heaven, as I was. I didnt get any photos of the woven textiles, I was just too wrapped up in the quilts!

ReplyDeleteWow, Linda, wish I lived closer!! But this was almost as good as being there. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's an amazing exhibit. Wish I could get down to see it... Where does this Polly Greene live? I've never heard of her or seen her work before...?
