Thistle Quilt Guild Quilt Show

Here are some hightlights of my visit to the Thistle Quilt Guild's annual Westville, Nova Scotia.    It was a lovely show.  I won a door prize of a really nice table runner kit complete with backing, batting and binding. I filled up my new totebag with goodies.
I also got together with three Nova Scotia Bloggers.

L - R  Lesley The Cuddle Quilter, Karen of KaHolly, ME, and our hostess, Sheila of Sheila's Quilt World..

A challenge to recreate a paper gift bag into fabric.

The Raffle Quilt

 Wonderful quilty day!

  1. Wow , you took a lot more pictures than I did , I was too busy talking lol! Thanks again for coming Linda it was a very special day with my blogging friends!

  2. I agree with Sheila! What a great time we had. Your photos are wonderful and show so well the beauty of the stunning quilts we saw today. The BOM quilts along the stage were exceptional! Thanks for sharing the show!

  3. What fun to visit your blog this morning and "re-visit" such a delightful show! I had so much fun. I wish I took more pics of the quilts, but glad you did. The show was delightful, small, intimate, and not at all overwhelming. This guild does so many fun things together. Having Sheila guide us through was an extra plus - giving us the 'inside story' behind each display.

  4. What an awesome show of talent! I expected to see just a "few" things but my goodness, there is so much to see. I'll have to go over the photos again and again to take everything in.

Thanks so much for sharing. I wish I could have been there with all of you!

  5. Congratulations on the prize! Lovely pictures and wonderful to see you guys.

  6. A fabulous display! That must be a very large (or very productive) quilt guild!

  7. I love the gift bag challenge. Thanks for posting the photos. Lots of inspiration.

  8. Looks like it was a great show! Wish I wasn't so far away... I would have attended too! Glad you had a good day. I've never met Leslie, but I know her sister Patti... small world...

  9. Looks like it was a terrific show.

Thanks for stopping by. I love to hear from you and I really appreciate that you have taken the time to leave a comment.
