Look at the lovely Christmas greeting I received from Sheila of
Sheila's Quilt World, my quilty blogging friend. A quilted postcard. The image is from a vintage postcard that belonged to a family member from 50+ years ago. If you would like to read about Sheila's postcards you can visit
here. I just love them. Her post inspired me to get out my old postcards that belonged to my Grandfather when he was a little boy. Some are dated 1908. I tried to make one but got discouraged as I couldnt get the edging to look nice. I was really in a rush that day and I just need to try again except take my time. Next Christmas.
Merry Christmas Sheila and thanks so much.
Another year is ending... I still have a pile of UFOs, I have acquired lots more books and magazines and patterns, I have learned new techniques, my quilting tool collection has grown, my computer skills have increased, I have met new friends, I have lots of new fabric and I have diminished my scrap collection somewhat.
Am I further ahead than this time last year?....not a whole lot....but I am happy and healthy and have a wonderful family who loves me....I have all I need.
Merry Christmas everyone, especially to all my blog followers. I appreciate all the lovely comments and feedback that I receive. Quilty Blogland is an amazing place to be.
Merry Christmas.
