Work in Progress.....still

This quilt has been kicking around for far too long but the end is finally in sight.  I am rounding the last corner of the outer border and I see the light!  I have the binding cut out and ready to apply as soon as I finish the handquilting.  It dates back to 1996!

I started knitting a scarf for my nephew, the youngest son of my Quilty Sister.  He is in his second year of engineering at University of Calgary.  The colours I chose are the school colours of UofC. The yarn is Regal by Briggs and Little., Canada's oldest woolen mill located in New Brunswick.   I am just making up the pattern as I go along.doing a k2p2 all the way.  He wanted his scarf skinny.  I will give it to him for Christmas as the whole gang from Calgary will be in Nova Scotia to celebrate.  First time in 15 years that all my siblings and their children will be together for Christmas.
I am linking up to the Needle and Thread Network for Work in Progress Wednesday.  Stop by and check out all the Canadian quilty goodness

Thanks for linking to the Needle and Thread Network! I do blog hop but my hands go numb from typing to much, so I don't always leave a comment.
