Down...but not Out!!

I have spent the last two weeks working on my RRCB ("Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll",a Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt from 2010) I had a Plan "A" which quickly went in ditch after quilting two blocks...I hated it!..it took my husband and I two days of un-stitching and then I started fresh on Plan "B".  I am not loving this quilting plan either but I am continuing on with it because I can't bear to rip it all out again. This quilt is so huge and heavy and I can only FMQ for short periods of time because it is really hard on my arms and neck.  I am almost halfway done and as my bad luck with this quilt would have it...I am running out of thread..so again, not happy.  I will put it aside for a little while,  until my thread arrives, and work on my piece for the Quilt Canada exhibit. Time is running out quickly on this one.  I have to have it in the mail by 23rd.   I am just about to do the FMQ and some handwork and I will show you when it is complete.

Between the ripping and the cursing I did manage to get another New York Beauty block completed. I love making these blocks . Still no definite plan on how I will use them in a quilt , just making them til inspiration strikes. Also, here is my block for Month 7 of the Blogger's Block of the Month.  This tutorial is by Allison of Cluck, Cluck, Sew
I am linking up with the Needle and Thread Network today so pop over and see what everyone is doing this week.
