Step #3 Mystery Quilt - Complete

350+  2" HSTs completed and waiting to find out where they will go in this mystery quilt.  For this step, I started out cutting strips and using the Easy Angle ruler and it worked very well.  And then I thought I would try the paper-piecing method and that worked very well too.  I like both methods and I found they required the same amount of time.

Here are last week's blocks, the final blocks, from the 12 Days of Christmas QAL..I am now working on deciding about sashing.  I hope to get the quilt top sewn together soon.

  1. OH I am sooo far behind in everything. These extra hours at the Post Office are killing me.

  2. Great work. Being up to date with the mystery quilt so far. It is nice to know that the different methods work out about the same, I have wondered about the relative efficiency of different methods.

  5. Isn't it a good feeling to be caught up and waiting for the next step. It's a foreign feeling to me, I'm usually way behind, lol.
