10 pieced blocks left to sew together and then sew the centre portion together then make the border units. Wow! Lots of sewing but I love the results. I didnt have to work today so I got a lot of sewing done.
I am sooo far behind. I need 50 more string blocks, and I still need 600 HST! Well 598! Then sewing it all together. I will get it done, but I might be the last one. Doing too many things at once I suppose, but I want them all done yesterday.
It's great. What a lot of pieces! I read Bonnie Hunter's blog now and then and I saw some of the posts about making this and wondered how on earth it would come together. It all seemed so random, but it sure looks cool all assembled.

ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of sewing, but man...what a gorgeous quilt! Will you quilt this one yourself?
ReplyDeleteThat is looking fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I saved the parts but haven't had time to even think about cutting or sewing this one. Need to finish other projects first!
ReplyDeleteLookin' good Linda!
