50th Anniversary Quilt
This is the wallhanging I made for my parents 50th anniversary. That was nine years ago! The design grid I used is a copy of the floor tile they have had in their kitchen for probably 30 years! I used bias tape and hand embroidery to duplicate the tile. It is handquilted. It has been hanging in their dining room since so I think since next year is their 60th, I will make something new for them. The photo transfer in the centre is getting a little faded. They love it and dont want to take it down but I am thinking maybe the "Christmas Farrago" may hang in that spot for a while! We will soon see.

What a clever idea to copy a floor tile from their home. I love it!
