Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival

WooHoo! My plans are made, I am off to Amherst tomorrow morning to take in some of the wonderful quilty things going on there. I have been anxiously awaiting this trip for a while. I will only be there for a few hours so I want to see as much as I can. There are a few quilt shows and of course the window displays. I also want to visit Deanna Fitzpatrick's studio. My aunt will be with me and she is a hooker so she will certainly enjoy. I will be at Dayle's to check out all the wonderful blocks that were submitted for the Block Challenge.

I would love to win. The prize is a wonderful huge basket of quilting goodies.
I am also on a fabric hunt for a medium/dark mauve and hope to find it at Dayle's.
The highlight of my day will be meeting awesome Amherst quilt designer, Karen Neary, for the first time. We have been blogging buddies for the past while and it will be so cool to finally meet her and to see her latest Beauty which is on display in the window at Dayle's. I hope to have lots of pics to post when I get home.
Here's a link if you want to check out the activities this week

Here's a peek at the quilt I am working on right now. Totally from stash. Details at a later date.
