I used Kona colours...White, Ash and Coal for the squares and I will be using Kona Curry for the binding. I am going to use this cute print for the backing.
When Tula Pink's "Eden" arrived at It's Sew Time, I could not resist the temptation to buy a quarter metre cut of each of the 22 prints that were received. I do adore Tula. I immediately cut into them with no real plan. I do that a lot! I had started out to design some kind of a new cushion, but once the colours started to come together for me, they screamed to be stacked together in a colour column. Using Tula's Totally Tubular Technique from her book, "Quilts from the House of Tula Pink", I now have a plan. But you will have to wait to see how it all comes together.
I am linking up with the Needle and Thread Network. Stop by and checkout all the Canadian quilty goodness.
Hope you get time to do something quilty today!

ReplyDeleteOooh, the gingham is classic and modern at the same time. Love it!
ReplyDeleteTwo of the Eden prints sneaked into my purse yesterday. They sensed I had seen them in your and Jeanette's online posts. No project planned, but I couldn't let them get away.
