Quilt Canada 2012 - Invitational

This is by Laurie Swim

Here are some more photos of quilts that were exhibited at Quilt Canada 2012 in Halifax.  OMG! It was so awesome.  I so wish I could have been able to take photos at the Juried Show, but take my word for it, it was beyond amazing. There were several Maritime Quilters who just blew everyone`s minds.  Judy LeClue from Marco Polo Guild in Saint John, N B,  won an award for her whole cloth quilt.  Sandra Betts, also from the Marco Polo Guild won an award.  Juliet Nowlan, Riel Nason, ....several more...I didn't take notes.  It was amazing.  These pics were taken at the Invitational Show which is a display of quilts by all the teachers at the show.  I wish I was organized enough to tell you who made everything, but it is all very overwhelming.

  1. The quilts are out of this world! There is certainly a lot of talent here. Thank you so much for sharing all the photos. Your pictures turned out great!
