My rug-hooking Auntie decided to let her creative juices flow and added lots of colour to her latest creation. The addition of colour in this rug is a departure from earlier rugs she has made in that it shows her personality so much more. She was inspired by the wonderful colourful rugs that we saw when we visited Amherst for the Fibre Festival. We decided that she is going to teach me to hook and I am going to teach her to quilt...I already have my rug design in mind.
