My first string blocks! Love them. I am using telephone book pages for the foundation. The centre strip is white. I have 18 made since last night and I will work on 20 more today. I am glad I used the phone book pages because they tear off very easily. I am also using spray starch when pressing the completed/trimmmed block because of all the bias edges.
